Toyota Prado 250 Touring Storage: False Floor + INFINITY Setup
When it comes to building a touring-ready Prado 250 Series, the first thing you need is a solid foundation — and that starts with a well-designed false floor. Whether you’re adding drawers, slides, or a 12V system, our Raised False Floor with INFINITY Compatibility has everything you need to build it right the first time.
We’ve answered the most common questions Prado owners ask when starting their storage setup.
Does it clear the hybrid battery?
Yes. The raised design is specifically engineered to suit Toyota Prado 250 Series Hybrid models. It clears the factory hybrid battery compartment completely, while offering a flat, solid platform for drawers, fridge slides, and gear.
Does it come with 12V provisions?
Yes. Every Raised False Floor is supplied with a pre-cut 12V facia panel, carpeted and ready to accept:
1 x Anderson plug
2 x 12V accessory sockets
1 x Redarc DC-DC charger
You simply cut the holes when you're ready to install your gear — the panel is ready to go.
It also includes an under-deck mounting platform — perfect for a slimline lithium battery or fuse block.
What fits on top?
Everything in the INFINITY System.
This floor is fully compatible with our INFINITY click-in components, including:
Drawer Modules – click in/out for modular flexibility
Fridge Slides – including high deck or side-by-side
Side Wings – to fully seal off the sides with lift-up storage
All modules lock securely in place and can be removed in seconds when you need a flat floor.
What’s the deck made from?
We use 17mm structural plywood, finished in automotive-grade carpet. The single-piece top is mounted to a rigid subframe, rated to 250kg of evenly distributed load.
It bolts into the vehicle using factory anchor points, with no cutting or drilling required.
What about the second-row seats?
No seats are affected. The false floor fits behind the second row and is compatible with 5- and 7-seat Prado 250s.
How’s it shipped?
This is a solid one-piece floor system. It ships on a pallet for protection and arrives pre-assembled — ready to install.
How hard is it to fit?
Installation is DIY-friendly and takes around 45–60 minutes. You’ll receive detailed instructions, and no drilling is required.
The Perfect Starting Point
This raised false floor is built to suit the unique layout of the Prado 250 — and is the foundation of every full INFINITY touring build. With a clean 12V panel, battery tray, and flexible mounting system, you’re ready to expand whenever you want.
