The Lawson Automotive Transit Custom False Floor Base provides a durable protective surface within the cargo area while maintaining a clean and organised van interior.
False floor sections are supplied as modular front and rear components that can be installed individually or together depending on the storage system being used. These floor sections are designed to cover the areas of the van not occupied by drawer systems while protecting the factory van floor from tools, materials and equipment.
When both sections are installed the system forms a full protective false floor across the cargo area.
Full height shelving bays can be installed within any of the four storage zones of the vehicle. Shelving systems are independent of the false floor layout and can be mounted either directly onto the van floor or on top of a false floor section depending on the vehicle setup.
This system provides a flexible foundation for van fitouts where shelving, equipment storage or open cargo space is required.
Storage Upgrade Zones
The Transit Custom storage platform is designed around four dedicated upgrade zones within the vehicle. These zones allow additional storage modules to be added depending on the tools and equipment carried.
Refer to the zone map below and select upgrades for the areas you wish to expand.
🟧 Cargo Barrier Zone
Located directly behind the cargo barrier, this zone can be configured with a full height shelving bay to maximise vertical storage capacity for tools, parts and equipment.
🟦 Sliding Door Zone (RHS)
Positioned along the sliding door side of the van, this zone can support a full height shelving bay to provide organised storage with convenient side door access.
🟩 Rear RHS Zone
The rear right-hand section of the van provides a full height storage area designed for a fixed shelving bay to keep tools, equipment and materials organised.
🟪 Rear LHS Zone
The rear left-hand section of the van also supports a full height shelving bay designed to maximise vertical storage space.
